KG Uslan
director playwright dramaturg scholar
Hey everyone! I am a non-binary theatre creator and scholar originally from Portland, OR. I recently received my Bachelor of Arts in English: Writing and Theatre Arts from Florida Southern College, graduating cum laude and with honors. As a multi-hyphenate creative, I seek to not only think outside of the box but break it down. I gravitate towards work that features queer characters and toes the line between avant-garde and intimate. One of my goals is to help close the gap between theory, performance, and social justice.
What I'm up to...
I recently directed The Flick at Pensacola Little Theatre as the opener for their Studio 400 series! To read more about the experience, click here.
What's up next...
I am currently working as the intimacy choreographer, stage manager, and dramaturg for Pensacola Little Theatre's Somebody to Love, a psychedelic, musical, and immersive reimagining of A Midsummer Night's Dream, adapted and arranged by Ashley Simmons.
